Having originally held a career in international sales within advertising, insurance and finance, in 2017 Sam joined Ad Idem Consulting, a boutique recruitment agency specialised in partnering with UK, European and US Asset Management, Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients. He was a trusted external advisor for hires from graduate to C-Suite across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Performance and Investor Relations for many of the leading global operators in the industry.

After 4 successful years with Ad Idem, the Covid-19 pandemic struck and like many of his industry peers, Sam found himself on furlough with little expectation for a return to pre-pandemic operation.
He therefore took the opportunity to move in-house as an Internal Recruiter with United Green, an ambitious Family Office that specialises in the greenfield development and investment of sustainable and industrial projects globally.
Following an initial period of growth, the company went through a restructure and Sam was promoted to a HR Leadership role in 2022, becoming the Head of Talent by 2024. Whilst at United Green, Sam helped to launch and scale new subsidiaries operating within the Renewable Energy, Sustainable Agriculture, EPCM, Investment Management and Manufacturing sectors, as well as being involved in the acquisition, integration and transformation of a small footwear brand within the E-Commerce space.
With experience operating to a global mandate, Sam has hired over 100 people in 4 years across UK, Central & Eastern Europe, CIS, US, Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Australasia jurisdictions.
